Building and Repairing Dry Stone Walls

The Scottish Traditional Skills Training Centre is holding one of its ever-popular Dry Stone Walling Courses, on Thursday 6th and and Friday 7th September, at the Salmon Bothy, Portsoy, Banff.

This 2-day Course, which will provide hands-on instruction and training in the skills involved in constructing and repairing Dry Stone Walls, will be of immense benefit to Private Individuals, those within the Construction Industry, as well as representatives of community-based Conservation Organisations.

The course is being  led by Euan Thompson, a highly skilled and experienced Dry Stone Waller and Instructor who, in addition to his work with the Scottish Traditional Skills Training Centre, has carried out numerous highly successful walling projects for a wide range of private and public sector clients.
